Slash Athlete has received your Registration and Release Form for the TITANS Performance Training session Sunday, June 7 from 11:15am - 12:15pm.
This will be a fun, instructive and competitive performance training designed to improve your athlete's speed and strength specifically for baseball, while reconnecting with their teammates.
Below is the ZOOM info and some helpful hints to get the most of the session:
"ARRIVE" EARLY - I'll open up the Zoom Portal ten minutes early so the boys can hangout before the session.
CREATE A SPACE - Your athlete will need a 6' x 6' area to perform the moves.
NO EQUIPMENT REQUIRED - However, your athlete is welcome to use a Yoga Mat/towel for floor work. Also, there will be some movement variations where they can utilize a large ball (soccer, basketball, etc) and a paper plate, though neither is required.
HYDRATION! - Even in a 6' x 6' area, they will expend energy, so make sure they have water.
FOR SUCCESSFUL ZOOM TRAINING:
CAN YOU HEAR ME? - Pick a workout place quiet enough to hear Coach Tom's instructions clearly.
CAN YOU SEE ME? - Coach Tom will demonstrate each movement so be sure your athlete can see him.
CAN I SEE YOU? - Coach Tom needs to be able to see your athlete to adjust their form/technique. It's best if their whole body is in frame during the exercises. Also, it's best if athletes are well-lit, with the light source ideally in front of them (coming from the device-side), as opposed to coming from behind.
