ABOUT COACH TOM
Tom Hoffman is a Certified Speed and Agility Coach (CSAC) and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) who has spent his life competing and training young athletes in multiple sports, knowing what it takes to reach one's potential.
Tom's passion for sports started with Baseball. After winning the L.A. City Championship in high school, a decorated college career followed. Tom then coached baseball in numerous youth programs and High School teams, culminating in a job working for Major League Baseball International, coaching throughout Europe.
For the past decade, Tom has continued to work with young athletes in multiple sports, most notably for the last decade in soccer, expanding his interest and education into the specific movements required by each sport to maximize speed, agility, strength and durability. He's developed his P.A.L. Technique to create better athletes and is excited to share it with young athletes at all levels.
Tom is an avid endurance athlete and marathoner, and qualified for, and ran in the 2023 Boston Marathon.
Whether the goal is to make the high school or college team, improve standing on the travel/club team, or to introduce fundamental form to develop your child's mechanics, the mission of /athlete is to create better athletes:
